Rhythmic movement training and reflex integration For Pain Management, Part 1

No Previous knowledge required

Who is the course for?

For everyone interested in health and well being. Health practitioners and any other professions working with their own or other people with issues around stress and pain. You can also take this class for personal reasons.

Course overview:

For pain management BRMT it is a great tool. If we have not done a normal "basic tuning" of muscles as infants it can lead to hyper mobility and/or unnecessary muscle tension, stressing of joints and hindering of circulation and breathing. After some time this can cause pain and inflammation of muscles, stiffness and arthritis in the joints. Nonintegrated infant reflexes can lead to an unequal muscle tone in the body. This in turn can lead to asymmetry and misalignment such as rotated pelvis, scoliosis or other deformities. Primitive infant reflexes can also be activated by physical or mental trauma later in life.

By learning and understanding the theory and practice of reflex patterns and rhythmic movements, we can help ourselves and others to find more organic movement patterns and thus go to the root cause of problems in the body. We learn how to observe the body in rest and in motion and to test and integrate primitive reflexes both through Isometric Pressure and Rhythmic Movements.

The course is both theoretical and practical and provides a good basis to understand and perform the simple and yet very effective techniques of Rhythmic Movement Training and Reflex Integration, when it comes to stress and physical problems and pain and how to become more balanced.

We look at nutritional needs to support e.g. nerve and bone health. The main topics of this course:

  • Basics of Rhythmic movement training in theory and practice.

  • The primitive infant reflexes and how the Rhythmic movements affect them.

  • Theory of the brain, nervous system and motor development.

  • Environmental causes of stress and other problems.

  • Nutrition that strengthens the system.

  • How to observe, test and integrate active reflexes in different ways.

  • Muscle tension and uneven loads on bones and joints caused by active primitive reflexes.

  • Primitive reflexes that give back and joint pain. How to correct a rotated pelvis.

  • Muscle tensions due to emotional stress and active stress reflexes.

  • Importance of good nutrition and inner and outer detox.

  • How to use nutrition as part of the treatment when integrating reflexes.

  • Tools to handle emotional reactions when doing Rhythmic movements.
